Are you happy with the way you shoot a handgun? Looking for formal training with a handgun? Want to shoot a handgun you are not familiar with?
We offer private lessons that can help, for both beginners and intermediate shooters.
Starting with solid basics of safety, grip, stance, sight alignment, and trigger control, as well as the operation of the handgun, we can coach you to better handgun shooting.
This is a personal lesson that we can tailor to fit your needs. It is perfect for the intermediate shooter who already has some experience with a handgun and can safely handle a firearm, and, while we recommend the “Introduction to Handguns” for beginners, this class can also fit the needs of the novice.
Some examples that may help you:
- You are looking for in depth formal training, focused on the fundamentals, to improve your handgun shooting.
- You want help with the selection of a new handgun. We can look at the features in depth and examine the pros and cons of many different makes and models.
- Rent one or more of our handguns, shoot them on our range, and compare and contrast how well each works for you.
- If you have a new gun, maybe as a gift, and need some in-depth training with its operation.
- If you have a favorite gun but just want more practice and training with it.

- One on one instructor to student training
- Use one or more of our handguns or use your own
- We provide eye and ear protection or bring your own.
- This also includes targets and range time
Please note:
- If you use our guns, you must purchase our ammunition.
- If you use your own gun, you may purchase our ammunition or bring your own. All ammunition must be “range safe”: no armor piercing, steel, or aluminum cases.
- If you have no handgun experience, we recommend you register for one of our group introductions lessons first
- This is not a permit to carry class.
