This ladies-only social group provides education and support for all things shooting-related. This meeting is held monthly and covers a new topic each month. You can join at any time and bring a friend! No experience necessary, but it is highly recommended that you take the Adult Intro to Handguns course at Coyote Creek or a 1:1 lesson before joining this group. Women who are pregnant should not attend this class.

Education is provided by NRA & USCAA-certified instructors. Educational topics are covered each month, and live fire is available at every meeting! You can bring your firearm/ammo, or we will supply one.

Lipstick and Lead is free for our Range Members at Coyote Creek. (one more reason to join!)

$20.00 per week if you are not a member of the Indoor Gun Range

June – Long Range Rifle Event Information

The Zumbrota Valley Rifle Club has offered to host us for a Long Range Rifle Seminar this summer.  This opportunity is available three evenings this summer, June 3, June 10,  and June 17.

The Zumbrota Rifle Club is located north of Rochester, east of Zumbrota.​

Tuesdays, June 3, June 10,  and June 17.   (weather permitting).

We will start each evening at 5:30 P.M. with an introduction and safety orientation at the clubhouse.

There is a $10 range fee for using the rifle range.  Please bring cash to cover the range fee.

You are welcome to bring your rifle or use one that we provide.  You will want at least 50 rounds of 22 LR ammunition.

July: Summer of Clays

Shotgun Fundamentals
First, on Tuesdays, July 8, 15, and 22 we will be meeting at the Stewartville Sportsman’s Club where we will learn about shotguns, gun fitting, and shooting moving clay targets.

Sporting Clays (Golf with a Shotgun) For the second opportunity, the Byron Sportsman and Conservation Club has offered to host us for a Sporting Clays again this summer. This opportunity is available two evenings, July 17 and July 24. You are welcome to attend one or both evenings.

August: Defensive Shooting Fundamentals

This month we will be going downrange and shooting defensive shooting drills. You will need 2 to 3 magazines for your gun. Our guns will also be available. You will be engaging targets using Instinctive Point Shooting and Instinctive Sighted Fire. Be sure to wear a
(Coyote Creek) baseball cap this month.

September: Scrambler Drill 

This month, we are going to put your defensive shooting fundamentals to the test on a dynamic course of fire called the Scrambler Drill. Bring your handgun or use one of ours. Be sure to bring
your extra magazines and Coyote Creek Hat.

October: Halloween Shoot/Action/Practical Shooting Course

This month we will be shooting in a downrange “spook-house” in an action Shooting. Bring your handgun with extra magazines and wear a baseball cap. Do it right, and you will get to shoot the
course in the dark.

November: Thanksgiving Turkey Shoot

The game is 3 strikes and you are out. Last Woman Standing wins a Thanksgiving Turkey.

December: Silent Night/Guns of Die Hard

In honor of the Holidays and recognizing the greatest Christmas Movie of all time, we will again
be shooting guns from the movie, Die Hard, including the MP5 submachine gun. Remember,
there are two kinds of people in this world: Those who know that Die Hard is a Christmas Movie,
and those who are wrong.
