2026 Schedule

January — Poker Night

We’ll kick off the year working on core handgun fundamentals while playing handgun poker. Accuracy, consistency, and strategy all come into play in this fun and skill-building night on the range.

February — Dueling Trees (.22 LR)

Get ready for a fast-paced, round-robin style tournament featuring dueling tree targets. Friendly competition, quick transitions, and lots of trigger time.

March — Battleship Tournament

Remember the game Battleship? This month, we’ll compete in a round-robin style Battleship shooting tournament where precision and planning matter.

April — PTC Shooting Standard & Spring Cleaning

We’ll shoot the Permit to Carry Shooting Standard using your own handgun or one of ours. After shooting, we’ll transition into gun cleaning. Bring any firearms you’d like to clean — supplies and guidance provided.

May — Rifles (Indoors)

This month focuses on rifle fundamentals indoors. We’ll cover trajectory, establishing a zero, and understanding minute of angle (MOA). Bring your own rifle or use one of ours.

June — Rifles (Outdoors)

Weather permitting, we’ll head outdoors to the Zumbrota Gun Club and engage targets at distances out to 200 yards. A great opportunity to stretch your rifle skills and apply what you learned in May.

July — Shotguns & Clays (Outdoors)

Weather permitting, we’ll move to the Stewartville Gun Club to learn the fundamentals of shotgun shooting and hitting clay targets.

August — Defensive Shooting Fundamentals

This month we’ll go downrange and work through defensive shooting drills designed to build confidence, efficiency, and real-world shooting skills.

September — Scrambler Drill

We’ll put your defensive shooting fundamentals to the test on a dynamic course of fire known as the Scrambler Drill. Expect movement, problem-solving, and adrenaline.

October — Halloween Shoot / Action & Practical Shooting

Celebrate the season with a downrange “spook-house” action shooting course. A fun, slightly spooky, and highly practical shooting experience.

November — Rimfire Challenge Shooting Gallery Turkey Shoot

We’re bringing in new targets this year! Shooters will engage reactive (plastic) “beer bottle” targets in a challenge-style rimfire competition.

December — Silent Night: Guns of Die Hard

In honor of the holidays — and the greatest Christmas movie of all time — we’ll be shooting firearms featured in Die Hard, including the MP5 submachine gun.
Remember: there are two kinds of people in this world… those who know Die Hard is a Christmas movie, and those who are wrong.
